Adam Kibort joins judges and colleagues at Ronald McDonald House

Adam Kibort joined with members of the legal community (practitioners, judges, mental health professionals & mediators) to benefit the children and families of the Ronald McDonald House. The event served as a kickoff for New Era Divorce, an organization of which Adam is a founding member.

Attendees, which included local judges, mediators, mental health professionals, and family law attorneys, helped make and serve dinner to those living in the house while their children receive care at nearby Lurie Children’s Hospital as part of the Culinary Hearts program.

Families staying at Ronald McDonald Houses are often far from the comforts of home, including home-cooked meals. Through the Culinary Hearts program, volunteers provide meals for families, allowing them to dine and unwind without the stress of cooking or the expense of dining out.

New Era Divorce was conceptualized by seven leading family law professionals who understand the divorce process can be contentious not only between spouses, but also between the attorneys who serve them. The group is on a mission to change the way divorce law is practiced. Through educational events, social gatherings, and community outreach, they come together to bring collegiality to the practice of family law.
