David C. Adams

Mr. Adams is a Partner with Grund & Leavitt. He received a joint Law Degree and Master of Business Administration (J.D./M.B.A.) from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign.
While at the University of Illinois, he taught Business Law and was a guest lecturer on other subjects. In 1992, Mr. Adams practiced almost exclusively in Federal Court, gaining expertise in the areas of labor, employment discrimination and admiralty law. Thereafter, Mr. Adams was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable John P. Tully of the Illinois Appellate Court, First Judicial District. In 1997, he joined Grund and Leavitt, P.C., practicing appellate law with an emphasis in civil litigation and matrimonial matters. Mr. Adams is also an adjunct professor teaching Advanced Pleadings and Motion Practice in Family Law at the IIT/Chicago–Kent College of Law in its LLM program.
