Mr. Berman is a Partner with Grund & Leavitt. Prior to joining Grund & Leavitt, P.C., he was a principal partner in the law firm of Kirsh & Berman, Ltd. in Chicago.

Mr. Berman received his Juris Doctor from DePaul University Law School in 1964 and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois in 1961.

Arthur Berman has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for 31 years. Mr. Berman is a fellow, former National Treasurer, Vice President, and President of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers; a former member of the Board of Managers and Vice President, Illinois Chapter, American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers; past chairman Chicago Bar Association, Matrimonial Law Committee; past chairman and secretary of the Illinois State Bar Association, Family Law Section; past chairman Genetics Subcommittee of the American Bar Association, Family Law Section; past chairman of American Bar Association, Custody Committee; Past President of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and past President of the U.S.A. Chapter of said organization; Diplomat of The American College of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Berman is certified by the AAML as a Matrimonial Arbitrator.

Lecturer and contributing author, Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education, participant in various seminars for Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Mr. Berman is a past instructor at Harper College and St. Xavier’s College and a past guest lecturer at DePaul College of Law, Loyola Law School, and the Northwestern University School of Law.
